Our background
Practice-trained. Industry-tested.
Rudder Financial is led by Phil Leary ACCA, who brings over a decade of experience across practice and industry. Phil spent more than nine years in practice, qualifying as an ACCA accountant and working across a broad range of owner-managed businesses.
He then moved into industry as Financial Controller at a national homecare franchisor, before becoming Finance Director across a management consultancy, an employment law firm and a collection of e-commerce brands. Rudder Financial is the return to practice, built on both halves of that experience.
That matters because we’ve been on the receiving end of accountants’ work as well as producing it. We know which numbers actually drive decisions and which reports just gather dust.
